Day 4 - Guang Zhou

Claire’s house very nice , from her house I can see pearl river
and today We wake up very late I think its around 9 am , after take a bath we go to ICBC Bank. Its so near just cross the street and we found seven eleven , yipppyy…. So hungry…. But we just buy cha dan (egg with herbal flavour).
we try to find medicine store to buy some high altitude medicine *just in case in Tibet we got sick*

Lunch time, me , Geraldine and Claire meet eveline – she also from philippine – Claire take us to Japanese restaurant “ roku roku “is and I think one of the best Japanese resto in Guangzhou .
The interior of the restaurant is good and cozy.Upon entering the establishment, we were immediately confronted with a fresh sushi bar. Hmmmmmmmmm yummy….
The staff gives us room –we share the room with Chinese family - with a very open flow where light and aromas are free to smell and its make me so hungry .

We ordered set meal of tepanyaki , chef very quick preparing our meal and I love to watch the chef slice and dice the food.
I received my first order , miso soup , sashimi salad , rice , and thin slices of meat.The meat sooooooooooo good its like melted in my mouth. It was marvelous!
As part of the set menu we were served ,everybody so full, me too and I feel sleepy hahahahaha cant take food anymore miso soup , fruits , ice cream , sashimi salad , meat , rice gosh.. so full.

It’s a great lunch with good converstation also we can watch each item is prepared one by one.
The overall experience at Roku-Roku was awesome. A healthy meal there could set you back a good RMB 50 per head, its actually RMB 55 but Claire’s have a member card.

for the standard of service and quality of food they provide is worth it.Prices are at the high end but worth it for the quality of the food.

After lunch claire's driver took us to medicine store , we want to buy some high altitude medicine , because tomorrow we will fly to Lhasa - Tibet.

and you know what.. i am so surprised that ge bought so many different type, different brand of chocolate to bring it to our tibet journey
and also she remember my fav dried mangoes from her country,i am so touch even she said she bought it in hong kong. hahahahahaha mmmmmmmmmmm yummy

i take a nap while ge finishing her report , and our dinner its chinese food. Gosh we order everything may be because we still cant believed that we meet again after our last trip to yunnan province and we are in china again , in this time we will go to tibet
yeah.. we cant finished it... so take a way for tomorrow breakfast.
we must wake up around 5 am and arrived at guang zhou airport around 6 am.

Big Shock

Hari pertama kerja.... i got big shock.
beneran ga nyangka kalau temen kerja yang selama ini jadi temen berantem , temen curhat , temen ngutang *karena dia jualan keripik kentang + pulsa*,temen pertama kali kenalan waktu masuk pertama kali , temen yang pertama kali membantu adaptasi kerja , masuk rumah sakit dan koma.
memang selama ini mba yuni itu sering sakit kepala, tapi beneran ga nyangka kalau separah itu dan secepet itu sakitnya.
sudah kedokter juga tapi mungkin ga menyeluruh periksa jadi kasih obat sembuh nanti kambuh lagi.
sakitnya kali ini dropnya cepet banget , pertama kejang kejang masuk rumah sakit trus kata dokter juga sakitnya sudah menyerang batang otak nya, pernapasannya juga sudah pakai alat ,
setau aku seh kalau udah kejang uda menyerang selaput otaknya

apapun yang terjadi

i wish her all the best,
kalau memang sudah waktunya , biarkan mba yuni tenang ditempat yang baru
kalau memang belum waktunya, kita mau yuni sembuh total , biar bisa kerja lagi , becanda bareng , berantem juga

ke rumah ira

Kemaren ke rumah ira di daerah cibubur, ada waktunya kemaren lagi pula harus cepet cepet ke sana , iranya mau balik lagi ke bj.
ke sana ama dianterin trus disana ngob ngob gt.. seru banget. soalnya ira bisa maen gu cheng , alat musik tradisional china gt.
yang suara nya kaya di film film silat...hahahahha

sekalian balik buku yang di pinjem feb kemaren , waktu itu ga sempet balikin buku mandarinnya pas mau balikin itu buku jatoh dari motor, lengkap deh penderitaan. pake acara keseleo segala.

sebenernya bakalan ke beijing liburan lebaran ini , tapi kalo tunggu sampai oct bukunya uda keburu basi .bukunya mau di pake buat ngajar juga

semalem liat ira maen in gu chengnya itu jadi pengen belajar , bagus banget.. aku sampe ledekin dia.. ra kalau u maenin nadanya salah g juga ga tau..ahahahhaha sempet nyesel seh waktu disana ga belajar alat musiknya tapi emgn ga minat kali ya... kaligrafi aja tuh tulisannya yang aku buat ga ada seni nya.. jelek benerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yesterday was an old friend’s bday – we have known each other since 1st semester, its sophie and neni bday party.
and I was at my friends birthday party last night....Thank GOD July is almost over!
We lunch at Ampera resto - srengseng (is it lunch at 4 pm ?? kekekeke )
because its free so we ate as much as we can.. hahahahaha mmmm
slowly but sure we finished all the seafood – cumi , udang , paru , empal , pepes , sayur asem , babat , usus etc –

And..
its still not enough
So we went to Rumah Duren ( not duda keren ) ate duren … duren and duren

So, here's to better times, and a chance at even better!

突然之间想起了我上学的时候 ，那时候真的是特别特别的好，
你们时不时也这感觉上学的时候是最快乐的时候啊 ????
和好朋友们在一起，这是 特别的开心.
上课的时候我们就在后面绣十字绣，哈哈，还让班主任逮到好几次呢
下课之后就看不到我们的身影了，（跑了，去买吃的，预备着上课吃）
在宿舍 里面都会谈谈自己以后的梦想，想嫁个什么样的老公
也许这是女孩子们永远的话题把）呵呵，
现在想起来真的是好好玩啊，

For My Friend

My dear friend, Soendjojo

Today I arrived in Beijing and then Klaus told me that erna passed away.

I'm sorry to hear that your girlfriend – erna - passed away.

Who is she? She is my friend’s girlfriend she passed away last week on Feb 9th,2007 because cerebral/brain aneurysm.

Then memories came out.
I can still remember the first time i saw they become a couple...
Erna is a nice girl , always smile and first impression she smart.

Hey ! i wanna tell u: Man…..be strong! Carry on...everything will be fine.

She left...but I realise that is good for her leaving, becase she can rest in peace.

My deep condolences to the family and you.

Xmas & bday dinner

Just got back from dinner with my friends and teachers. My friends b-day was a week ago, so my classmate wanted to take them to dinner to celebrate. chinese food is the best. I'm stuffed.
