China is the hometown of tea.

In traditional Chinese lifestyle , tea was regarded as one of the seven condiments in family life , namely fire , rice , oil , salt , soy , wine and tea. Moreover tea is among the seven treasures of literary men.

Status of tea is very unique. There are two reasons.
1. its special healthcare function. In ancient China , tea was important drink of disease cure and prevention
2. Another important reason is that tea , with the increase of communication requirement and attachment of society etiquette in the development and evolvemen of the Chinese society , rises as a living necessity with distinct culture flavor.

Tea has brought the harmonious between Han nationality and Tibet through the hard working by both WenCheng princess and Srong Btsan Sgam Po.
Tea is also indispensable for the harmonious between countries. The friendship among China , Japan and Korea can be measured completely by the spreading of tea.
Tea can contruct harmony and annihilate war. In Song dynasty , the trades for tea and horse were the way to avoid wars between Song , Liao and Jin.

In the world history , the North America required independence , so the conflict between it and British finally upgraded to the war. And the fuse of the war is the famous event, The Boston Tea Party on March 5 1770.

Tea with coffee and cocoa is regarded as the three kinds of famous drinks. The function of tea upgraded from daily life to politics , economy , military , culcute , religion and other society systems.
